About the data and method
KhelPath is an independent interaction prototype. The complete working journey is fictional and resettable. Public records inform the architecture; they do not create a real transaction, authoritative eligibility decision or government integration.

Works — everything demoed works
- Fourteen role journeys as clickable scene sequences over one shared browser world.
- Branching paths: four ground choices for the guardian, two programmes for the adult athlete, with visible downstream consequences.
- Live cross-seat ripples: a published slot, an approved credit, a verified result and a verified baseline all land inside the citizen's scenes.
- Mock UPI receipts, twelve-rule checks, results boards, Sports Passport with a working QR verification page.
- 201-sport directory, ecosystem map, 23-language drafts, light and dark themes, a low-bandwidth route.
Mocked — and labelled on screen
- All people, grounds, coaches, events, fees, schedules, capacities, receipts and results.
- The UPI payment sheet: no payment provider is ever contacted and no money moves.
- Every message or status that would normally require another organisation.
Never touched — by design
- Government identity systems, NSRS, federation systems and live provider availability.
- Real payments, official competition entry, scholarship submission and selection decisions.
- Any scout access to minors, and any real data about any child, anywhere.
We never ask for
A government ID number, a phone number, a one-time code, a card, a home address, a photograph of a child, or any real record. There is no login. Everything you type stays in your browser and can be reset from the judge's console.
Bhoomika's dashboard shows family-private wellbeing fields such as height, sleep and readiness. They exist only inside the family's private view of the fictional record, are never public, never scored, and never reach a scout, official or sponsor.
A three-minute reviewer tour
- Walk Bhoomika's nine scenes — pick a different ground in scene 3 and watch the path change.
- Publish the Saturday 09:00 slot as the ground operator, then reopen the guardian's calendar: the slot is there.
- Hover any role on the ecosystem map and play the eight-step chain.
- Scan all fourteen seats, then open any of 201 sports.
Working local logic
- Fourteen complete scene journeys with visible world changes.
- Hard eligibility and transparent option comparison.
- Simulated bookings, payments, entries, results and receipts.
- Private Sports Passport, correction and reset.
- A persistent picker for English and all 22 Scheduled Languages. The home hero, the picker and the notices are translated as machine drafts. Navigation and the fourteen journeys stay in English for now, with a visible notice in every other language.
- Eight work types, fourteen ecosystem roles, six places and alternative athlete routes represented as structured records.
- Eleven runnable engine checks on the judge's console, a one-click reset, and branching ground and programme paths, with no runtime model call.
Synthetic operations
Every person, provider, organiser, schedule, fee, capacity, event, result, availability, receipt and transaction used in the working flow is fictional. Nothing is externally delivered.
Public references
Published sports-system records informed the pathway and entity model. A public facility identity does not establish current intake, price, schedule, capacity, safeguarding or eligibility. Missing operational data remains “not published.”
No real minor data
KhelPath does not hold or show named or row-level public data about people under 18. The ingestion guard drops explicit ages below 18, dates of birth implying a minor, named youth-category rows and named people from youth-adjacent sources. Aggregate counts, schemes and facilities may remain because they do not identify a child.
Bhoomika is a wholly fictional alias with only an age band and district. She has no face image, school name, exact address, contact detail, government ID or medical record. Guardian consent is assumed on file for this demonstration.
World sports directory
The directory contains 201 original explanatory guides: 184 sports and disciplines developed from a historical secondary research snapshot, plus 17 India-focused additions from named public rules sources. All guide copy is original KhelPath editorial writing; no third-party prose or media is reproduced.
Historical rules are explicitly treated as an orientation snapshot. A current governing-body link is shown only where it remains reachable and has been separately reviewed; every other guide says that current rules still require verification before anyone acts on them.
India status is joined from a separate, dated public-source layer. “No Indian pathway or facility verified” means only that current supporting evidence is absent from KhelPath's sources. It is never presented as proof that a sport is not played in India.
Unavailable integrations
The prototype does not call live public, school, provider or federation systems. No undocumented endpoint is used. Any future adapter requires approval, documented contracts, purpose-bound consent, security review and authoritative ownership.
How this prototype was built
Built for the Build What Moves India hackathon. Codex was the primary implementation tool for the scene system, the rule and world engine, the seed data, accessibility work and the release checks; the build history is logged in the repository's CODEX_LOG. The running prototype makes no runtime model call. Open-source components are disclosed in ATTRIBUTION. A KHP code is a private demo reference, never a government identity; a production version would meet systems such as NSRS only through approved adapters owned by the responsible authorities.
Where the design comes from
A product-discovery corpus built between 2016 and 2026 — sports ecosystem decks, athlete journey maps and development playbooks — supplied the role universe, the eight-need athlete framework and the Innocence-to-Excellence lifecycle used here. The corpus is an internal design reference only: every name, number and operating record in the demo was re-invented as fiction.

Correction policy
KhelPath does not publish a fictional contact address or pretend a correction has been submitted. For this competition prototype, evidence corrections are reviewed in the project source before a new dated release is published. No external submission occurs from this site.
AI and recommendation boundary
The baseline journey requires no model. Structured records and fixed, published rules decide all hard states and writes. A future model may help parse intent for confirmation or narrate an existing trace; it cannot create an opportunity, rule, score, forecast or receipt. Suitability scores never override hard eligibility.
Minor privacy and trust
The fictional minor has no exact address, contact number, school, government ID, payment, health or biometric data. The profile is private. Public discovery, scout visibility and direct messaging are disabled. This prototype shows one consent-on-file banner and does not play a consent ceremony.
Future safeguarding flow: a production service would keep separate, revocable guardian permission and age-appropriate child assent for each purpose, with deletion and access logs. It is documented here, not presented as a completed action in the demo.
Talent-scout discovery is policy-only in this build: no child search, public profile or direct contact exists. A production hand-off would require verified institutional evidence, a credentialed scout, guardian-controlled disclosure, adult-routed contact and a complete access audit.
